Radio Interview About Starting at Johnson's
About the Johnsons and Johnson's Martial Arts.
Bryson and Melissa Johnson have trained in martial arts since children. They began classes as children in Augusta, Georgia. As teenagers, you could often find Bryson and Melissa at the academy training or teaching TaeKwonDo to the other students- something they were both very passionate about.
Throughout their early working lives and college, Bryson and Melissa always desired to own a martial arts academy of their own. In fact, Bryson took a job as a Systems Engineer requiring a Top Secret Clearance on Ft. Bragg, North Carolina, to be closer to Cary to manage their TaeKwonDo club.
The Johnsons have been married for 21 years, and have a 15-year old son who is a National Karate Champion and a professional actor. They enjoy spending time with family and traveling together.
Their academy is the top martial arts school in Cary and Morrisville, every belt in their academy is earned, and they believe that the highest purpose of a martial arts education is to improve the student's life.

What some happy families say:
"Johnson's Taekwondo Academy is not only a 5-star Taekwondo facility, but also a 5-star Leadership academy. Through the leadership skills I acquired through Taekwondo, I established an SAT Math Program to raise money for St. Baldrick's foundation.
- Tejas Sundaresan
They have the students' best interests at heart in terms of helping the students learn Taekwondo and encouraging them to think about how all of their lessons can be applied in everything they do in life. It has truly been an outstanding experience for my son (and everyone else involved).?"
- Donna Barton
"Johnson's Taekwondo of Cary provides the motivation to stay with an exercise program. It is a full body workout with a focus on safety to ensure it can be done long term.
